In December 2015, a very special music instructor passed away suddenly from a heart attack. Known by his colleagues as Chief, he was a dedicated instructor who enjoyed working with his students, and the students loved him. Along with music instruction, Chief recognized that through his personal mentoring, support and interest in his students' lives, he was able to make a difference. He was a champion for his students. It's the combination of music education and instructors like Chief that will help us to achieve our goals of confidence, hope, inspiration, empowerment and a better future for Georgia youth.
